Siddaramaiah files defamation suit against BJP, Modi

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah sends legal notice for criminal and civil defamation to BJP, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and BS Yeddyurappa, over the BJP's corruption charges against him. The BJP has claimed that Siddaramaiah was connected to a ponzi scheme where at least 35,000 people have been duped and had received an expensive Rs 40 lakh watch.

BS Yeddyurappa, the BJP's CM candidate for Karnataka had tweeted, "Dear Mr #10PercentCM @siddaramaiah, let me remind you of your 70 Lakh Hublot watch,which is believed to have been accepted as an official favor from a Biz-man in exchange for you approving projects violating all rules. Proof enough for blatant corruption, isn't it?#Dare2Answer"
