Emmanuel, Brigitte Macron's hair and make-up costs Rs 4.16 lakh a month, report reveals

France's Brigitte Macron keeps her golden locks looking good with the help of her husbands official hairdresser, whose services to the presidential couple cost the French taxpayer a whopping 5,200 (Rs 4.16 lakh) a month, a new report reveals.

The Court of Accounts provided the figure in its annual review of the lyse budget, but the lavish spending on the couples hair and make-up has not caused the outcry it might have in Britain, where David Camerons outlay of 90 (Rs 8,000) for a trim raised eyebrows when he was PM.

Instead French media focused on the fact that the first ladys office cost the state 278,750 a year, lower than the annual 440,000 a year predicted by the government.
