On the occasion of Vijay Diwas which celebrates India's victory in the 1999 Kargil War, the father of Captain Saurabh Kalia who died when he was tortured in captivity in Pakistan has been demanding justice for his son. He says the PM, Defence Minister & External Affairs Minister had promised that the issue of Capt Kalia's death would be taken up with Pakistan and at the international level but till now no concrete action has been taken.

Said NK Kalia, "We had to move Supreme Court, We understand this is an issue between two nations, I am optimistic in nature and will continue the fight. This issue about the dignity & honour of our armed forces."
