Taking a dig at the all-caps tweet of United States President Donald Trump against Iran, the Democrats House Foreign Affairs Committee hit out at the former for not holding Russia responsible for meddling with the 2016 US Presidential Election.

Democrats accused Trump of siding with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In an all capital letters tweet, Democrats House Foreign Affairs Committee, said "DON'T BE DISTRACTED BY ALL CAPS. WE'RE NOT ATTACKING IRAN. BUT RUSSIA *DID* ATTACK OUR 2016 ELECTIONS TO HELP DONALD TRUMP, AND IS DOING SO AGAIN. TRUMP REFUSES TO HOLD RUSSIA ACCOUNTABLE AND SIDES WITH PUTIN OVER OUR INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY. THAT'S AN ALL-CAPS-WORTHY PROBLEM."

On Sunday, US President Trump threatened his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani hours after he cautioned the US about pursuing hostile policies against Tehran.

In what seems like a befitting reply, Trump took to Twitter and wrote in capital letters, "To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!"

These comments come months after President Trump announced the US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action or the Iran nuclear deal which limited the country's uranium enrichment in exchange for sanctions relief.
