Mob lynching: Centre sets up high-level committee

JUST IN: Centre to set up a high-level committee headed by Union home secretary to prepare a report on incidents of mob lynching.

The government has also decided to constitute a Group of Ministers headed by the Union home minister to consider recommendation of the high-level committee.

They will submit their recommendation to the PM.

The high-level committee will submit its recommendations to the government within four weeks.
