Delhi's young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant (pictured) got his maiden Test call-up as he was picked up as the additional keeper along with Dinesh Karthik after Wriddhiman Saha was ruled out with injury for the upcoming five-match Test series against England.


Karun Nair also got the nod ahead of Rohit Sharma, while pacer Shardul Thakur was included in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Bhuvneshwar aggravated a lower back condition in the 3rd ODI against England. His condition is being assessed by the BCCI medical team and a call on his inclusion in the Test squad will be made soon.


Jasprit Bumrah who has been included in the squad, will be available for selection from the 2nd Test onwards based on his fitness.
