AP governor alerts Centre on Rohingyas in Hyderabad
August 13, 2018  10:33
Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan has alerted the Centre about Hyderabad becoming a second hub of Rohingya settlements after Jammu.

In his fortnightly report to the centre, Narasimhan has emphasised that a bigger influx of Rohingyas would encourage disparities between minority communities in Telangana.

Having been the head of the Intelligence Bureau, Narasimhan has dealt with this subject before, and the Centre is believed to be paying attention.

The BJP unit of Telangana has also sought for the National Register of Citizens to be implemented in the state to identify the quantum of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas.
