21 injured in fire at Bharat Petroleum refinery in Mumbai

Twenty-one people have been injured in the fire that broke out at a refinery of Bharat Petroleum in Mahul, Chembur, after explosions this afternoon, a Fire Brigade official said. One person is said to be critical. The plant at Mahul road of Mumbai caught fire at around 3 pm, the official said. The fire is still raging, even as seven fire engines and two foam tenders have been pressed into service to douse the blaze, the official said.
