BJP President Amit Shah to meet Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and  Maharashtra MPs today at 7 pm over the issue of the Maratha Reservation issue.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari inadvertently provided fodder for the Congress party to attack the BJP when he said that reservation will not guarantee employment as jobs are shrinking in the country. Talking to reporters in Maharashtra's Aurangabad district, Gadkari was quoted by PTI as saying, "Let us assume the reservation is given. But there are no jobs. Because in banks, the jobs have shrunk because of IT. The government recruitment is frozen. Where are the jobs?'

The Congress party reacted saying, that's the question Indians are asking as well.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said yesterday that all constitutional obligations in connection with the granting of reservations to the Maratha community in the state would be completed by November this year.
