CWC meeting begins, likely to discuss NRC, assembly polls

Congress Working Committee meeting begins at party headquarters in New Delhi.

This is the second CWC meeting under Rahul Gandhi's chairmanship.

The National Register of Citizens in Assam is likely to be the key agenda of the meeting.

The meeting of the CWC, the Congress' highest decision-making body, is also expected to discuss the preparations for the assembly polls in four states this year and the issue of alliances for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
