Centre begins process to amend POSCO Act

Centre, in its letter, submitted to the Supreme Court has started the process to amend the POCSO Act to ensure maximum punishment of death penalty in child rape cases between the age group of 0-12 ages. The Centre submitted its report while responding to a PIL. Further hearing on April 27.
