In a no holds barred attack on the BJP government, chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Raj Thackeray at a press conference pulled up Railways Minister Piyush Goyal over Mumbai stampede.

"This Piyush Goyal is good for nothing... Just for bullet train project, Suresh Prabhu was changed, he was good," said Thackeray.

Blaming the government squarely for the mishap that claimed 22 lives on Friday, the MNS chief has issued an open threat to the Modi camp, thundering that he will not allow the construction of the bullet train.

"I will not allow bullet train to be constructed here, if we are not getting basic facilities. If Modi wants, he can construct bullet train in Gujarat. If they use force, we will too," added Thackeray.

In a fiery warning to the vendors at railway stations, the MNS chief added, "I will give an ultimatum them, if they do not clear the area, we will move them out in our style."

On the issue of poor infrastructure in the city, Thackeray passed the buck to the 'outsiders' in the city, who add to the plaguing problem of population spurt.
