Day after student's murder, principal of Ryan Intl School suspended

The acting principal of Ryan International School in Gurugram, Neerja Batra, has been suspended a day after a Class 2 student was killed in the school premises.

A conductor on one of the school buses has reportedly confessed to murdering the seven-year-old after a failed sexual assault attempt.

Angry parents have been protesting outside school premises demanding that its management be booked as well.

Meanwhile, the parents association has slapped Rs 100 crore fine against Ryan International and have demanded a shutdown of the school.
