A lookout notice has been issued by the police against Honeypreet Insan, adopted daughter of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Panchkula Deputy Commissioner of Police Manbir Singh said on Friday.

Honeypreet sparked controversy when photos of her accompanying the Dera chief when he was being taken into custody and was flown in a specially arranged helicopter from Panchkula went viral.

Honeypreet is considered close to Ram Rahim Singh and is also seen as the likely successor of the Dera.

She describes herself as 'papa's angel, philanthropist, director, editor and actress' on social media. -- ANI, PTI
