Stamp paper scam convict Abdul Karim Telgi dead

Convict in counterfeit stamp paper scam Abdul Karim Telgi passes away in Bengaluru due to multiple organ failure, reports ANI.

Telgi was on ventilator support since Tuesday. He was admitted to Bengaluru's Victoria Hospital in a critical condition last week.

Telgi was suffering from meningitis and he collapsed in the prison last week, the Indian Express had reported.

He was serving 30 years of rigorous imprisonment in the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, along with a massive fine of Rs 202 crore.
