Bipasha trolled for doing 'cheesy commercials'

Bollywood actor Bipasha Basu was trolled online after she recently shot a steamy ad for a condom brand with husband Karan Singh Grover.

The 38-year-old actress shared some of the pictures of the ad on her social media page. However, the trolls criticised her for endorsing condoms.

"Bipasha Basu, not sure you should be doing this. Wait and explore good cinema. You do have a brand value," was one of the advice given to her on Twitter.

Some also took a dig at her dropping career.

"No movies been offered to these two, so they have to resort to cheesy commercials," read a tweet.

Although Bipasha has deactivated the comments section on her posts, the actress stands by her choice as her only aim was to spread awareness.

"The idea is to create awareness on the subject; it's the need of the hour. I am doing no wrong by endorsing condoms," she explained.

Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover married in 2016.
