Asteroid the size of a house approaching Earth

An asteroid the size of a house is going to narrowly miss Earth this week in an uncomfortable but risk-free flyby. Experts have said the asteroid, called 2012 TC4, is "no danger", not even to satellites above us.The hunk of rock will pass Earth at an altitude of less than 44,000kms, just above the 36,000kms level where satellites orbit the planet, the Independent reports.
