'Modi zindabad' at Cong HQ

The Bihar state Congress headquarters yesterday saw a free-for-all as workers exchanged blows, former state unit president Ashok Choudhary was thrashed, and slogans of "Narendra Modi zindabad" rent the air.
Sadaquat Ashram, the state Congress HQ, was hosting a meeting - of 1,240 newly elected delegates, MLAs and MLCs - convened by state unit working president Kaukab Quadri.
Entry was on the basis of a list prepared by party officials. However, several delegates and district leaders alleged their names were missing and held Quadri and former RJD man-turned-Congress leader Akhilesh Prasad Singh responsible. This sparked protests and slogan shouting. Read more here.
