Constitution Bench to go into note ban, hear plea on depositing old currency

The Supreme Court has disposed of 14 individual petitions seeking its nod to deposit demonetised currency and asked the petitioners to file a plea before the Constitution Bench.

Besides examining the Centre's decision on demonetisation, the Constitution Bench would also deal with individual pleas seeking to deposit demonetised notes, the Supreme Court said.
