Indian arrested in Islamabad for not having travel documents

An Indian national has been arrested from F-8 area in Islamabad.

As per the report, the national was arrested for having incomplete travel documents.

A case has been lodged under Article 14 of the Foreign Act and the arrested has been transferred to jail for judicial remand.

The arrest comes at a time when relations between the two countries are strained as ever over the arrest and the subsequent execution order of former naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav.

India heaved a big sigh of relief when the International Court of Justice passed an order staying the execution of Jadhav.
