Have my own sources in home ministry: Digvijaya on IS claim

Defending his claim that the Telangana Police were trapping Muslim youth by encouraging them to join Islamic State, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh today claimed that his sources in the home ministry informed them about it.

"I have my own sources in the Home Ministry and police," he told NDTV.

In a series of tweets, Singh alleged that the police in the southern state had set up a bogus ISIS site and were posting inflammatory information to trap young Muslim men.

Singh, who was recently stripped off the charge of important states by his party, said that a reshuffle is welcome.

"We have been here for so long, something called fatigue sets in,' the 70-year-old said, adding that his boss, "Rahul (Gandhi) wanted new people to come in and I am fine with that."
