It's PM's duty to hear our farmers' problems: Rahul

Congress VP Rahul Gandhi meets Tamil Nadu farmers protesting over drought relief funds at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Rahul said that the PM had given debt relief to the richest people in the country, but not for people who have built this country -- the farmers. The protest by farmers from Tamil Nadu at the Jantar Mantar entered its 18th day today. Protestors said that they will only end the protests once their demands are accepted by the government.

The protestors have done everything from displaying the skulls of fellow farmers who had committed suicide, to dressing up as corpses and holding live mice in their mouths, to get a drought relief package of Rs 40, 000 crore from the Centre and farm loan waiver.
