Govt promises probe into attack on DNA reporter

DNA reporter Sudhir Suryavanshi was attacked with hockey sticks by four unknown persons at Kharghar today. Suryavanshi was injured in the attack which took place at Shilp Chowk in a residential area of Kharghar. The reason behind the attack is not known yet, reports ABP Majha.

The report said that the journalist was looking for a repair shop as his car had a tyre puncture, when the miscreants attacked him.

The incident was discussed in the state assembly with home minister Ranjit Patil promising a probe.
