Budget Session: Congress to hold strategy meeting today

The Congress will hold a meeting today at around 10.30 am to outline its strategy in Lok Sabha. The party has given a notice in the Lok Sabha on the LPG and petrol price rise issue.

The second leg of the Budget session in the Parliament began yesterday, with the Congress party seeking to corner Centre on various issues.

"Congress will play the role of the Opposition in Parliament and we would be co-operating and co-coordinating with other opposition political parties. There are number of issues which are going to be raised by us including question of security threats that have emerged. It is very surprising that the situation in Kashmir remains volatile," Om Prakash Mishra told ANI.
