March 10, 2017  23:27
Setting in the mood for the biggest 'mandate' of 2017 -- election results of the five state assemblies -- microblogging website Twitter has introduced an emoji.

Regardless of who wins and who loses, one thing is quite sure: The moment the results start pouring in, various social media platforms will start buzzing. It will be election fever at its peak all around.

The emoji, announced by Twitter India on their official handle, illustrates a finger with the indelible ink mark. It can be automatically activated by using one of the many election-related hashtags while posting tweets. These include #ElectionResults 2017, #GoaElection2017, #ManipurElection2017, #PunjabElection2017, #UttarakhandElection2017, #UPElection2017, #CountingDay2017, #IndiaVotes2017 and #ElectionResults.
