Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in Naushera sector of J&K

The Pakistan Army on Sunday initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatic weapons and mortars in Jammu and Kashmir's Naushera sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian Army said it was retaliating strongly and effectively to the firing.

Pakistan initiated the firing at around 6.30 am today.

On Saturday, too, Pakistan had violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector, resorting to unprovoked indiscriminate firing from small arms, automatics and mortars.
