Update on Virginia shootout:

Eyewitness says at least five injured before shooter was taken down.

Alabama Republican Mo Brooks who was at baseball game where shooting took place, says 20-23 shots fired. He saw Scalise dragging self after shooting.

As per Brooks, Scalise is alive.

The shooter 'appeared to be a middle-aged white male'.

Brooks says gunman certainly knew who he was targeting.

Police tells the media it was a 'deliberate attack'. -- ANI
