June 5th marked the 50th anniversary of Naksa Day -- the annual commemoration of the displacement of Palestinians after the Six Day War in 1967. Novelist and journalist Mohammed Hanif visited Palestine three times -- in 1999, 2010 and 2011 -- the first time on a reporting assignment and subsequently to teach a creative writing class and to attend the Palestine Festival of Literature.
