Kovind's first speech as President

That's the image of Ram Nath Kovind being sworn-in by CJI JS Khehar. Polling over 65 per cent votes in electoral college, Kovind defeated his rival Meira Kumar by over 33,000 votes.

Seated in the first row of the Central Hall in Parliament House are Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Prime Ministers Manmohan Singh, Deve Gowda, senior ministers Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Opposition leaders Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjuna Kharge and others.
