The Mumbai Police Cyber Cell has registered an FIR against the comedy group All India Bakchod after they tweeted a meme about PM Narendra Modi by using the Snapchat dog filter.

This comes after the group's Facebook page posted a photo of a Modi lookalike with a Snapchat dog filter and captioned it 'Wanderlust.'

And so began a political war between pro BJP and civil society on social media with an overzealous follower tagging the Mumbai Police. The Police replied yesterday, saying they would be looking into the matter, and today filed an FIR against the group.

AIB has had to delete the Facebook post.

AIB has got into trouble over their roasts of Bollywood stars apart from a snapchat video showing Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar.

These are some of the tweets on Bhat's timeline yesterday.

@thetanmay  Jul  PS: Will continue making jokes. And deleting if necessary. And making jokes again. And Apologizing if necessary. Don't care what you think.

@Memeghnad (Today's AIB saga TL;DR) AIB: Ye lo. Joke on Modi.
BJP: WTF! REPORT! PUNISH!
AIB: OK. Taking it down.
Cong: WTF! REPORT! PUNISH!
THE END

@AngellicAribam a former general secretary of the Congress affiliated NSUI: Now AIB should just stick to making anti-Congress sketches which they did with much pride during our regime, ab woh FOE yaad nahi!
