'It all begins today': Trump fires first tweet on inauguration day

Donald J Trump has fired off the first tweet on the day hell be sworn in president. It all begins today, he said.

He also went into caps lock mode to say: THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES - THE WORK BEGINS.

Trump will be sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts, and make his inaugural speech.

The ceremony will be attended by former presidents and first ladies, including Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, Trump's opponent in the recent election.

An estimated 800,000 to 900,000 people are travelling to Washington, although it is not clear how many are coming to celebrate the inauguration and how many to protest against it.
