Budget after polls: SC defers hearing to Jan 20

SC defers hearing on PIL seeking postponing the Union Budget till after the five-state elections are over, to January 20. The court says at present it doesn't find any provision in support of the plea. The SC seeks material and legal provisions in support of plea seeking postponement of budget presentation in view of assembly polls.
