Chief of banned Manipur outfit sent to police custody

JUST IN: A Delhi court sends Manipur's proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party chief Khoirom Ranjit to seven-day police custody.

His aide has been sent to two-day police custody.

They were arrested in the morning from New Delhi's Mayur Vihar.

The duo was allegedly wanted in cases of series of terror strikes in Manipur.
