SP family war: Ruckus at party HQ in Lucknow

Hours after Mulayam Singh Yadav termed all decisions taken at a convention called by the Akhilesh camp illegal, the UP CM's supporters created chaos at party's headquarters in Lucknow.

Akhilesh's supporters forcibly removed Shivpal Yadav's nameplate from his office room.

On Sunday, the new chapter in the family war opened with Akhilesh being appointed as SP national president replacing Mulayam in the party convention which also proposed the expulsion of "outsider" Amar Singh and removal of Shivpal Yadav from the post of UP chief.

Mulayam later expelled Ramgopal Yadav from the party for third time .
