Mallya extradition request handed over to UK embassy

The MEA has today handed over the request for the extradition of Vijay Mallya as received from the CBI to the UK High Commission in New Delhi. The MEA says it has an extradiction treaty wth Britain and a legitimate case against Mallya. "We made a request; now it's for the British authorities to take further action," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup said.
