Trump criticises the retail company who dropped Ivanka's fashion line

Shares of American luxury department store, Nordstrom dipped lower after US President Donald Trump tweets that company is treating his daughter Ivanka Trump unfairly.

Last week, the retailer dropped Ivanka's line of clothes and accessories due to poor sales.

"My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by Nordstrom," Trump tweeted. " She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!"

However, two days prior the three co-presidents of the company sent an email to all staff criticizing Trump's ban on immigrants from seven Muslim nations
 
The Nordstrom brothers also pointed out that the company was founded by an immigrant, their great grandfather.
