He demeans his position and himself: Rahul on Modi's barb at MMS

Reacting to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's barb at ex-PM Manmohan Singh, Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi said that Modi has hurt the dignity of the Parliament and the nation.

"When a PM reduces himself to ridiculing his predecessor-years his senior,he hurts the dignity of the parliament & the nation," Rahul said in a tweet.

"He demeans his position and himself more than anyone else. Today's events were saddening and frankly; they were shameful," he said in another tweet.
