Sasikala swearing-in: TN governor may reach Chennai today or tomorrow

Tamil Nadu Governor C Vidyasagar Rao to reach Chennai by this evening or tomorrow. Sasikala, J Jayalalithaa's aide and friend, who has been chosen to be then next CM by the ruling AIADMK was to have been sworn in today. But Governor Rao, who is to administer the oath of office, is in Mumbai and has cancelled all his engagements in Tamil Nadu. Sources say he is against a "hasty swearing-in", and is consulting legal experts on whether Sasikala, who has never won any election and is politically inexperienced, can become Chief Minister at a time when the verdict against a corruption case is expected next week.
