Louvre attacker wielded machete shouting 'Allahu Akhbar'

The man shot after attempting to attack a soldier outside the Louvre museum in Paris was shouting "Allahu Akbar", the Independent says, quoting police sources.
Michel Cadot, the head of Paris police, said the man was armed with a machete.
Paris police say the Louvre attacker is gravely wounded, shot five times including the stomach. The soldier was lightly wounded.
