In a big setback to the Congress a week ahead of the municipal elections in Delhi, former Delhi Congress chief and four-time MLA Arvinder Singh 'Lovely' joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with Delhi Youth Congress president Amit Malik on Tuesday.

Not to be confused with former Union Home minister Buta Singh's son, Arvinder Singh Lovely, who joined the BJP in 2015.
