The NDTV journalist asked to leave a press briefing of the Pakistan Foreign Secretary in New York, for simply being an Indian, has stirred up a Twitter storm after she tweeted "‏@namratabrar  Told "Indian ko nikalo" at #Pakistan press con #UNGA #UriAttacks. Not surprised, we would probably do the same..."

While the jury is still out on whether India would ever do something so crass (and we think not), not a single Indian reporter, including the NDTV reporter -- Namrata Brar (Bureau chief, USA) -- were allowed to attend the briefing.

NDTV reported that when Brar was spotted at the Roosevelt Hotel where Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry was to address the media, his aides were told, "Iss Indian ko nikalo (remove this Indian)."
