Japan condemns Uri attack, offers support to India

The government of Japan has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Indian base in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, and extended its sincere condolences to those who lost their lives and their bereaved families.
In a statement, the Japanese government 'expressed its heartfelt sympathy to those who were injured' in the attack.
'Japan condemns terrorism in all forms regardless of its purposes, strongly reiterates that no act of terrorism can be justified,' it said.
'Japan expresses its solidarity with India in the fight against terrorism,' the statement said.
