On his b'day, PM launches schemes for tribal development in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches schemes for tribal development in Limkheda, Gujarat on his 67th birthday. The PM is speaking at the launch. Excerpts from his address.

- When Gujarat was formed, people raised questions on whether it will develop, but today we can see the state has developed.

- Water scarcity remained a key issue in Gujarat. At times we would get adequate rainfall but we werent able to conserve water.

- Mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' is resonating all over.

- I know that the farmer here is very skilled and I have also seen the farmer is innovative and willing to learn new things.

- Am glad I got the opportunity to be with my tribal sisters and brothers. I always hope Gujarat continues to scale new heights of progress.
