Stampede during naval recruitment exam in Mumbai, many injured

Many people have been injured in a stampede in Mumbai's Malad, where thousands of candidates had gathered for a navy exam.

Reports suggest around 6,000 candidates showed up at INS Hamla instead of the expected 4,000, and the large crowd tried to rush through the gate.

The police had to use batons to control the crowd.
