Upload FIRs within 48 hours, SC tells states, UTs

Just In: The Supreme Court has asked states and Union territories to upload FIRs on their websites within 48 hrs of registration; the court has granted 72 hrs for those in difficult terrain.

The SC exempted uploading of FIRs on websites in sensitive cases like insurgency, sexual offences against women and kids.
