United Nations Charter translated into Sanskrit

A first in the history of the United Nations, the international body's charter has been translated into Sanskrit by Dr J K Tripathi.

The translation was promoted by National Mission for Manuscripts in India & authored by Dr J K Tripathi.

"Commendable and pioneering effort that needs broader recognition. We will pursue this (effort)," India's permanent representative to the UN Syed Akbaruddin told ANI.
