Pakistani troops violate ceasefire in Poonch

Pakistani troops have violated the ceasefire in Kashmir's Poonch area and have resorted to mortar shelling and firing on Indian posts.

According to army sources, firing was still going on intermittently till the last reports came.

"We have responded immediately and gave appropriate reply in a measured manner," said a defence spokesperson, confirming the incident.

So far no one has been injured or killed in the incident.
