Suicide attacks near Defence Ministry in Kabul

Two back to back suicide attacks rocked the Afghan Capital on Monday. According to local media reports the explosions took place near the Defence Ministry.

Citing military sources, Reuters reported multiple casualties are feared.

An Afghan news website quoted a source as saying that two suicide attacks took place in Kabul.

There was no immediate confirmation of the cause of the blasts, less than two weeks after 13 people were killed in a suicide attack on the American University in Kabul.
