Bihar topper scam: Chargeheet filed against 32 people

Under the ongoing investigation in Bihar topper scam, Patna police on Monday filed chargesheets against a total 32 people.

Last month, the Special Investigation Team arrested science topper from Muzaffarpur, Rahul Kumar, in relation to the scam. He was arrested from Vaishali.

A day before Rahul's arrest, former exam controller of B.R Ambedkar Bihar University (BRABU), Muzaffarpur, Pankaj Srivastav arrested by SIT.

Ruby Rai, a former intermediate arts topper, who was arrested in connection with the scam on June 25, was granted bail last month.

The scam came to light after a video of Ruby Rai went viral in which she described political science as "prodigal science" and stated that political science, a subject she virtually aced, teaches cooking.
