No easy moment for security troops in Kashmir; encounter with terrorists underway

Another encounter is underway in Drugmulla, Kupwara district. The army and police have launched a joint operation after they received a tip-off of one-two terrorists believed to be in the area.

This encounter comes amid the constant ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops along the Line of Control and International Border.

According to TV reports, gunshots have been heard as the encounter is underway.

Early this morning, the Indian Army also destroyed four Pakistani posts in a massive assault across the Line of Control in the Keran sector of north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
